4. Purpose of processing personal data

Personal data in the register may be used for the following purposes: managing and delivering the customer relationship and the service, and handling, carrying out, developing, and monitoring customer service and related communication and marketing. Data may also be used to manage, maintain, develop, analyze, and compile statistics on the customer relationship between the service and its customers. Data may also be used to plan and develop our business and services.

5. Data content of the register

The register may include the following basic information provided by the customer: name, phone number, email address, address and other contact details, and other information necessary for contact, service delivery, or targeting. The register may also include other customer-related data, such as data collected about website use that can be linked to the customer, such as the user's IP address, time of visit, pages visited, browser type used (e.g. Internet Explorer, Firefox), the web address the user arrived from, and the server the user came from.

6. Regular sources of information

Data in the register is regularly obtained from the customer themself, with their consent, or from events related to the customer relationship, business dealings, and related interactions across various channels and similar activities.

7. Disclosure of data

Data from the register is not disclosed to parties outside the service. Personal data may be disclosed to the service's selected partners for the purpose of delivering the service, or for marketing and service-quality improvement purposes within the limits allowed by personal data legislation, and may be disclosed to competent authorities, for example to investigate misuse. The site uses Google Analytics for marketing purposes and to improve service quality.

8. Rights of customers in the customer register

Every customer has the right to check the data stored about them in the register. Data can be checked by submitting a written access request to the person handling register matters (section 2). The data will be sent by email to the address given in the access request. The data controller will respond to the customer within the time set out in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (generally within one month). Data can be checked free of charge once per calendar year. If there are errors in the registered data, the data subject can submit a correction request to the person responsible for register matters mentioned in section 2. Every customer has the right to prohibit the data controller from processing data concerning them, among other things for direct marketing and market or opinion research. For opt-out requests, the data subject can contact the address given in section 2 by email.

9. Protection of the register

Manual material: documents processed manually and containing personal data are disposed of appropriately after processing. Electronic register: the service's customer register is stored electronically and appropriately protected from outside access by firewalls and other technical safeguards. Only designated employees of the service and representatives of partner companies are entitled to process data in the customer register. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations.
